Event Trees Art Book
Event Trees, explores the commodification of one’s memories of the environment. In this piece I take my own memories of trees that have played an important role in my life and present them in the form of a product catalog. In an age where our thoughts, ideas, and memories are being uploaded into AI models, Event Trees considers what would happen if companies started selling our memories of the environment. Can a relationship to the environment be bought? Can memories be returned or exchanged? What are the care instructions?
